Here we are…at the end of another season and we are so grateful to all our beautiful couples and to our dedicated team at your favourite Cornwall wedding venue Tredudwell which once again has made so many dream weddings come true! November also means the start of another great winter chapter at Tredudwell, so here are 6 exciting ways we’re improving your favourite Cornwall wedding venue
1. Life on the Estate: wild flowers sown and mixed tree plantation
Earlier this autumn, we planted 35 acres of wildflowers in the most beautiful fields across the road from Tredudwell. These fields have stunning sea views so you will be able to leisurely walk amongst the colourful mix of scented flowers whilst your photographer captures unforgettable shots.
Our farm has been organic since 2009, in 2022, Justin and I made the decision to embark on the new countryside stewardship to help enhance natural habitat and food resources for bees and birds. You will all be lucky to taste our wildflower raw honey at breakfast time! Last year arable crops produced a fabulous harvest of ancient Emmer wheat which has been sold to a distillery to make some delicious and unique whiskey and gin that you will be very happy to discover on our bar shelf.

2. Replanting 6000 trees
Following a devastating disease in a part of our woodland, we will be, this winter replanting 6,000 mixed trees mainly native to Britain but also some other species which has proven very resilient to disease and climate change. Justin will be joined by “Callum the Great” who also looks after the lawns and flowers at Tredudwell as well as some of our robust friends who are keen for the challenge.

3. Making your Cornwall wedding accommodation shine
This year, we will be repainting all our beautiful ensuite bedrooms and adding some lovely soft furnishing touches. We will be upgrading some of our bedroom furniture too. It is very exciting and we cannot wait to welcome you all to our exclusive B&B accommodation in Cornwall.

4. Revamping the bar for your party
In the pavilion, we will look specifically at our bar and will be revamping the back bar display with more characterful material and colours. The new lighting system will also give a much warmer and inviting feel, a nice way to jazz up your evening party.

5. Supporting our dedicated in-house wedding team
In the manor house, we will dedicate this winter to rebuilding our workplace so your dedicated wedding team will have a new kitchen but also a brand new office, storage rooms and facility rooms. I cannot stress enough how important it is to have a wonderful place to work where everyone feels happy which does no doubt reflect on the success of the running of your special day. We will also be reroofing with stunning Delabole slates at the back end of the Manor house.

6. Growing your favourite Cornwall wedding venue team
We are so happy to introduce two lovely new members to Team Tredudwell! Bex and Lorna will be assisting us with events and will be on hand to support you. Working alongside Hayley, our coordination dedicated team will ensure you feel reassured and relaxed throughout the wedding process and on a wedding day! And of course, Becky our amazing housekeeper since 2017 will be looking after you in the house, serving breakfast and making sure you have a wonderful stay at Tredudwell Manor.
