our cornwall wedding venue

Accessibility at Tredudwell Manor

We want everyone who visits Tredudwell to feel welcome, relaxed, and able to fully enjoy their time with us, whether that’s celebrating a wedding, staying in the manor house, or taking in the views with a glass of something lovely.

Tredudwell is a place for gathering, for slowing down, for joy. And that joy should be accessible to all. While we are a historic venue with original features, we’re always working to ensure our space is inclusive and thoughtful.

Below you’ll find detailed information about our access features and if you’d like to chat anything through before your visit, we’re only a phone call or email away.

Here's what you can expect

Step free access:

  • Step-free access is available throughout our purpose-built pavilion, including the main ceremony and reception areas, the bar, and the outdoor terrace.
  • Accessible parking is located close to the entrance of the pavilion.
  • Flat pathways link the car park to the pavilion and to the amphitheatre lawn for outdoor ceremonies.
  • Accessible toilet with grab rails and carer space is available inside the pavilion.

While our historic manor house retains original features, we can advise on which bedrooms may be suitable for those with limited mobility and assist with local accessible accommodation recommendations.

You are welcome to take a 360 tour here to familiarise yourself with our setting.

Deaf or Hard of Hearing:

  • We’re happy to provide written versions of wedding day schedules or announcements ahead of time, if requested.
  • The acoustics in our pavilion are excellent, and the space is equipped with a PA system that can help with clarity for speeches and ceremonies.
  • Our team is on hand to support couples who wish to bring a BSL interpreter for their ceremony.
  • We’re also happy to work with couples and suppliers on captioned videos or ceremony readings, if that helps guests feel more included.

Neurodivergent and Sensory-Sensitive Guests:

  • We understand that weddings can sometimes feel overwhelming. If you or someone in your party would benefit from a quiet space to take a break, we’re more than happy to provide one.
  • If advance notice is given, we can arrange seating near exits, early access to quieter areas, or help couples plan for more low-stimulation moments during the day.
  • We welcome discussions around sensory-friendly catering, lighting, or music preferences.
  • The rural setting here offers natural calm with open skies, sea views, birdsong and we want everyone to feel safe and grounded while they’re here.

Additional Support:

  • Assistance dogs are warmly welcomed.
  • We’re happy to store mobility aids, sensory items, or medical equipment securely during the day.
  • Our team is here to support you – please just let us know your needs and we’ll do our utmost to accommodate them.

Planning your Visit:

We know that accessibility means different things to different people. If you’re unsure whether the venue will meet your needs or the needs of someone in your party, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re always happy to talk things through and find solutions together.

We're Always Learning

We believe that creating an inclusive and welcoming space is an ongoing journey. If you have any suggestions or feedback on how we can improve access at Tredudwell, we’d love to hear from you.
