If you’re dreaming of an autumn wedding in Cornwall that feels relaxed, creative and full of warmth, this October celebration at Tredudwell Manor is beautiful inspiration. With seasonal flowers, handmade details and a joyful ceilidh to end the night, this wedding captured everything we love about autumn weddings at our Cornwall wedding venue.

A Calm and Creative Morning in the Manor
With six bridesmaids, the day began early for Val at 6.30am as hair and makeup gently got underway in the manor house. Despite the early start, the atmosphere stayed calm and unhurried, with friends and family drifting in and out, sharing stories and helping one another get ready.
One of our favourite touches was the personalised photo albums given to each bridesmaid. It created a quiet, meaningful moment to sit together and share memories before the ceremony began. Photographer Grant Lampard was on hand throughout the morning, capturing those natural, behind-the-scenes moments that make a wedding day story feel complete.

A Barn Wedding Ceremony Filled with Laughter
For this autumn wedding in Cornwall, the couple chose a non-religious indoor ceremony in our barn wedding ceremony space, giving peace of mind whatever the weather decided to do. Their celebrant, Rosie, immediately set everyone at ease with a relaxed, warm approach that encouraged plenty of laughter throughout.
Seasonal florals by Alice at Fawen brought the space to life, with locally grown blooms including rich autumn dahlias that perfectly reflected the time of year and the couple’s colourful style.

Homemade Confetti and Cornish Coastlines
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a joyful confetti moment using homemade confetti before heading off for photographs around the grounds and a short trip to the coast. Making time to catch up properly with guests was really important to the couple, and the relaxed flow of the day made that easy.
The wedding breakfast began at 4pm, allowing the afternoon to unfold naturally before everyone sat down together.

A Vegetarian Feast Made for Sharing with a lively evening
“Gerens and I are both vegetarian so our wedding breakfast was all vegetarian, catered by Cornwall Chef. We wanted a communal feel with the meal so opted for Cornwall Chef’s sharing platters which were all incredible. In the evening we had Kernowforno’s pizza with a mixture of veggie and non-veggie which kept everyone going for the very lively ceilidh!”
The couple’s white wedding cake, made by Lucy Ellen Cakes in Torquay, had a slightly adventurous journey down to Cornwall. Thankfully, with a little help from our team and some carefully chosen flowers, it looked beautiful for the cake cutting at around 7pm.
A sparkler tunnel followed before the evening celebrations truly began. A lively ceilidh quickly filled the dance floor, with a pizza break from Kernowforno keeping everyone fuelled before dancing continued late into the night.

Why They Chose Tredudwell Manor
“We knew that we wanted to get married in Cornwall which is where Gerens is from and we were looking for a venue that was relaxed, sustainable and had the option of hosting us inside or out. Tredudwell ticked all the boxes. Hayley took the time to sit with us and go through some tips for wedding planning before we had even confirmed that Tredudwell was the one we were going for and the care and attention given to us, along with the beautiful venue made it an easy choice for us.”
“The Tredudwell team were brilliant. From the moment we looked around Tredudwell, right up until after our wedding, Hayley and the team were always on hand to answer any question we had, big or small. Knowing that they had worked with many of our suppliers and that they would be on hand throughout our big day took a lot of the pressure off the wedding planning and stress that comes with it.”
Their advice for couples planning their wedding?
“Get started early and go and speak to Hayley and the team as they can give you some great tips on where to begin and help you break down the minefield of starting the wedding planning journey. A good photographer is also helpful as they will keep you on schedule throughout the day and make sure you know where you need to be.”
