Tredudwell is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, entirely protected on one side by the National Trust land and on the other surrounded by our private organic farmed land, and it is up to us to create and grow a thriving and sustainable business that offers work all year round in such a remote area, perfect for an ethical wedding in Cornwall.

For the past decade, we have been involved in building projects, from entirely renovated the manor house, to build from the foundation to the pavilion, to the building of our latest addition – the garden follies and landscaping project. We are ever so delighted about the results, but what we found really exciting was involving local community, builders and craftsmen’s talents which truly made Tredudwell an exceptional venue! By working with local community, this allows us to develop a dynamic hub and creative space where local suppliers love to come and work with our couples. We are keen to nurture a happy workplace by encouraging ideas and creativity through teamwork.
As a result, with thanks to everyone’s hard work we are ready to offer more and more work and our team continues to grow. Every team member is based locally, we offer them an above average hourly rate and the necessary flexibility to fit around family life, etc and it works! Because we believe that a happy, motivated team will contribute to making you and your guests feel even more special! We understand that you come here to relax and enjoy, and we want to create that atmosphere for you.
Ethical wedding in Cornwall – for Cornish couples too!
When we decided to create our wedding packages, we really wanted to ensure that our Cornish couples could also afford to get married in Cornwall all year round, including the “peak season”. We know that wages in Cornwall are lower than elsewhere in the UK and yet they are one of the most desirable counties to get married in, and we wanted to address the gap between what others offered in the area and what the market demands. We based our price according to how much it would be to hire a marquee and offer our couples a much cheaper option and safer too if you consider the Great British weather factor!
We also only charge a £500 difference of prices between peak season and less popular times of the year, whilst offering the same quality of service and care all year round with the same luxury accommodation, we simply cannot justify a higher increase just because the demand is higher. This means that everyone can get married all year round at Tredudwell without being limited by a sharp increase of the peak season prices.
We offer a set price for our couples with no hidden add-ons. Our wedding offering includes

- 6 electrical hook up points
- Car parking for up to 150 cars
- PA system for indoor and outdoor
- 2 microphones
- Chivari limewash chairs and round tables for up to 150 guests
- Trestle tables – rustic pintables for cake, other items of decoration etc
- Outdoor furniture for ceremony
- Underfloor heating
- Full disabled access
- Ladies, gents and disabled toilets with changing facilities
- Cloakroom
- Our 6 metres long bar is fully staffed and stocked! And we make sure that our bar staff will check toilets, and empty bins every hour. You can check out the wine list here.
What’s more is that we do not charge corkage fees – you are very welcome to bring your own booze for the reception and toasts!
After an absolutely wonderful party and relaxing night, you will be delighted to enjoy the most delicious breakfast to share with your family! It is the nicest way to start and end such a special weekend!
Of course, we don’t just host weddings here at Tredudwell. We also host activity weekends, corporate events and team building events all with the option of luxury bed and breakfast accommodation. We are so open to your ideas too – you could host your art exhibition in our purpose built barn, yoga retreats or conference.
