Here at Tredudwell, we really love to help you envision your day, so we thought we’d walk through the perfect wedding day morning timeline with you, so you know what to expect and can picture you & your partner getting married here at our gorgeous Cornwall wedding venue!
A beautiful night’s sleep
We invite one half of the wedding party to sleep in the wedding suite which has a gorgeous superking size bed with a sea view which will indulge you in a dream fit for royalty, complete with a walk-in shower en-suite and lots of lovely and comfortable armchairs. We can happily invite three of your wedding party to stay in single beds in the room adjacent only separated by a door. As our B&B is quite spacious and welcome up to 18 guests, there will be plenty of room for a larger wedding party. If the rest of the wedding party wish to stay at Tredudwell, we will ensure that they won’t be able to see their other half to be as we are very fortunate to have our en-suite rooms on two floors and we can also offer two different serving times for breakfast. Sometimes the rest of the party will be staying elsewhere but very nearby in one of our recommended places.
An unforgettable breakfast
Introducing our Cornwall wedding venue team: Justin, our dedicated early riser, is the first to arrive, often waking as early as 5 a.m. His mission is to ensure that whoever is getting ready at Tredudwell experiences an unforgettable Tredudwell breakfast, setting the perfect tone for the wedding morning timeline. Breakfast is served in our recently restored and refurbished dining room, a picture of elegance (see photo by Grant Lampard). Our housekeeper, the wonderful Becky, takes great care of each guest, ensuring everyone’s needs are met. Her unwavering support on this crucial morning is truly invaluable. An early start allows ample time for the hair and makeup team to work their magic, sometimes even arriving before 7 a.m.
Checking the weather
Amid the bustle of preparations, all eyes are on the Cornwall weather forecast, ready to make a last-minute decision on the wedding ceremony location. At Tredudwell, we pride ourselves on our flexibility, making your wishes our top priority. Come rain or shine, an indoor or outdoor Cornwall wedding ceremony at Tredudwell is a dream realised.
Styling the Cornwall wedding venue to your taste
The florist and wedding cake team typically arrive at the venue mid-morning, along with the caterers. The day before the wedding, tables and chairs are set up as per the couple’s specifications, awaiting the caterers and florists to create their beautiful displays. Early birds in the form of photographers and videographers also grace us with their presence, capturing the preparations and the venue in all its decorated splendour.
Hayley and team of wedding coordinators will be making everything will be run as smoothly as possible, ensuring that everyone is at the right time and at the right place! The registrars’ team makes their entrance about 30 to 40 minutes before the ceremony, ensuring everything runs smoothly on this momentous occasion.
