When you’re getting married with us at Tredudwell (your favourite wedding venue in Cornwall of course!), we really want you to be able to enjoy that special time in the most relaxed atmosphere. Immersed in nature and surrounded by outstanding natural beauty, Tredudwell feels intimate regardless of the size of your wedding party. But of course, whoever comes to your wedding will need feeding. So we wanted to share some advice – what should you feed your wedding guests? We’ll walk you through when and what to feed them collaborating with our neighbour Gourmet Deli Cups in Fowey. With a focus on locally sourced products, freshly made and delicious meals, these two ladies offer bespoke, rustic, gourmet food to make your wedding even better!
What to feed your wedding guests on the evening before the wedding
Your relaxing wedding break starts the day before the wedding when your dearest and closest are helping decorating the pavilion. You can come in any time from 8am the day before your wedding. You will be able to really enjoy making your vision comes to life! The evening before the wedding will feel very special too and you may want to relax more than anything. To avoid stress, as not everyone gets to the venue at the same time, Gourmet Deli Cups can offer you some freshly made platters that will be delivered on the day and kept fresh until your guests arrive! You could enjoy your delicious meal in our gardens or admire the sea views from our barn wedding.
To make your evening meal before the wedding even more special, Gourmet Deli Cups can provide cups of delicious food of your choosing and they even offer a free bespoke service to our couples where they can get involved and have a say with the products they use, from delicious local cheeses to homegrown products, they offer all types of themed cups or platters to match any event.
….and on your wedding day
As for what to feed your guests on your wedding day, Gourmet Deli Cups really do offer a unique way of feeding your guests with canape cups or themed cups that work for you! They can also offer you a special table plan display with favours included, a very original idea that your guests will love. With guests’ personalised name and table number attached, you can find your seat with ease and enjoy a gourmet cup of delicious goodness. Their delicious canapés can also be a good option as your guest will simply be able to pick one cup to savour with their reception drink. The cups are displayed on beautiful wooden stands and could be handed over, however you feel.
